Charitable Donations

In the years between the Homes begining and now, much has changed.  Turner Memorial Homes is now Turner Retirement Homes and our facilities have grown so the number of people we can serve has also grown but one very fundamental thing has not changed - we are a "mission enterprise".  After 75 years we still give to the very people who deserve appreciation for their years of service.  It is our pleasure to serve in the mission set before us, to care for and provide affordable housing to retirees.

Although resident fees are a substantial portition of TRH's monthly income, a considerable portion comes from churches and individuals who give to TRH regularly.  TRH and churches work together to provide what could not adequately be done alone.

Volunteer Opportunities

We also have volunteer work groups that come and work a variety of different projects. Some of the work churches have done in the past have been taking down trees, painting, yard work, as well as bringing entertainment like music & skits.

Financial Planning Ministry

Turner Retirement Homes is part of a Consortium of Ministries that is working with Financial Planning Ministry to connect people with the opportunity for free estate planning and charitable contributions. Financial Planning Ministry has been in the business of financial planning for more than 20 successful years. Their purpose is to make sure that your desires are met, and you have peace of mind. Founded in 1982, FPM was initially established to offer Christian church members an easier and more efficient way to plan their estate. They have exponentially grown to serve numerous Christian organizations throughout the United States. The Oregon Consortium of Ministries includes:
