Independent Living
Our Independent Living options are for retired seniors, aged 55 years and older, who remain active and are able to see to their daily needs. Turner Homes offers many types of independent living options, from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom homes. Residents in independent living are responsible for all of their utilities, with the exception of garbage service which is included with your reimbursement. Independent residents also prepare their meals and are responsible for their yard maintenance. Independent residents are welcome to participate in all the regularly scheduled activities. One small pet is allowed in our Independent Resident's homes.

Our apartment units are located close to the main campus. All the apartments are on the ground level. Each unit has a living-dining area with a small kitchen and a bedroom with a generously sized bathroom and closet. Some of our one-bedroom units also have washer and dryer hook-ups, others have a central laundry facility located nearby for the resident's use. Grassy areas are mowed by the maintenance staff. The average apartment is 530 square feet. Our apartment units start at $925.00 per month. One small pet is allowed.

Our duplex units are located throughout our grounds. They have one or two bedrooms and a garage. Some of the two-bedroom units also have a second or half bathroom. All units have a living and dining area and a full-sized kitchen. Our duplexes also have a place for a washer and dryer hook-up. The resident is responsible for maintaining the yard. Our duplex units start at $1,000.00 for a one-bedroom and $1,450.00 for a two-bedroom. One small pet is allowed.

Our homes and cottages are located throughout our grounds. Homes and cottages vary in size. Most are two bedrooms, but we have a few three-bedroom units. All units have a living room, dining room, and bathroom. Some units have an additional bathroom and family room or den. All have washer and dryer hook-ups, and most have attached garages. It is the resident's responsibility to maintain the yard. Our homes start at $1,650.00 and go to $2,000.00 per month. One small pet is allowed.
