As Gary Taylor, Administrator of TRH considered the thought of retirement along with his wife Melody, their hope was to relocate closer to their children and grandchildren in Salem. Sometime in the spring of 2018, a friend asked him to consider becoming a part of Turner Retirement Homes. In retrospect, not only was it a great decision to move to TRH, but they built their retirement home at TRH as well. They moved into their new home in October of 2018, and he became the Administrator at TRH in January of 2019. Gary spent forty years serving our Lord in churches, colleges, and hospitals. He and Melody feel blessed. They have six children and six grandchildren. Gary enjoys collecting postage stamps from the classical period (1840-1930) and working with wood at his shop. Mostly, he enjoys the time spent with Melody and watching the birds at the feeders in his yard.
